Elizabeth Edwards has separated from her husband.



Elizabeth Edwards has separated from her husband (John Edwards, a former North Carolina senator). The couple confused three years in marital troubles. Her father is a decorated Navy pilot. In her early years, she attended school in Japan, where her father was stationed with a reconnaissance squadron, flying missions over China and North Korea.






John and Elizabeth have four children, including: their eldest daughter, Catharine, who is attending law school; nine-year-old Emma Claire; and a seven-year-old son, Jack. Their first child, Wade, died in 1996.
John and Elizabeth helped establish the Wade Edwards Foundation, and helped build a free computer lab in 1996.They are trying to separate for 1 year.

Within six years of being elected to the Senate and with no previous political experience, Edwards was the vice presidential nominee. He was on the ticket with John Kerry, who lost, it's true, but he was still on the ticket. As Spiro Agnew or, for that matter, Eliot Spitzer proved, in politics nothing is certain.
