Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton was born October 26, 1947. She is the wife of the 42nd US president Bill Clinton. From 2001 to 2009, she was US Senator for New York. She maintained her interest in children's law and family policy.



She received sustained national attention for the first time when her husband became a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination of 1992.

In 1975 Hillary Rodham and Bill Clinton buying a house in Fayetteville they both decided to marriage.




President-elect Obama formally announced that Clinton would be his nominee for Secretary of State. She received over a dozen awards and honors during her career.
